Activities include a hotel walk-through to help you navigate the space and a meet-and-greet with the lovely maids of My Cup Of Tea Maid Cafe. We’re pleased to welcome Zack Davisson, a scholar of Japanese folklore and ghosts. This will be Zack’s first appearance at Anime USA.
In addition to being a scholar, Zack Davisson is a manga translator and a writer. He is the author of Yurei: The Japanese Ghost and The Ghost of Oyuki from Chin Music Press and a contributing writer to Weird Tales and Wayward from Image Comics. As a manga translator, he translates Shigeru Mizuki’s manga for Drawn and Quarterly, including the Eisner-nominated Showa: A History of Japan, and for Dark Horse Comics he translates Satoshi Kon and Mamoru Oshii’s manga.
